Between 2005 and 2007 I was one of four founding directors of The Royal Standard, an artist-led gallery, studios and social workspace in Liverpool. Based in a former pub, which was semi-converted to suit our varied activities, we curated a number of acclaimed exhibitions featuring nationally and internationally renowned artists, and provided workspace to over 25 emerging artists and creatives based in Liverpool.
