I was with a friend once and we stepped outside to find that a hubcap he'd lost off his car months ago had been mysteriously replaced - brand new, exactly the right type. He thought I'd done it, but I hadn't, though I wish I had.

I like making small attempts to disrupt the daily grind. I like telling stories (and creating them for other people to tell).

I'm fascinated by the effects of contemporary communications on traditional communities. I love the borderlands between the urban environment and the natural world - railway sidings, airport runways, the hinterlands.

I make small acts and document them. The documentation is shown in galleries, turned into books, published on websites, or just told to people on the bus.

I'm based between Liverpool, UK and Marrakech, Morocco. Since graduating from Liverpool School of Art in 2004 I've shown work in artist-run spaces and municipal galleries nationally and internationally. Between 2005 and 2007 I also co-directed The Royal Standard, a critically acclaimed and ever-growing artist-led venue in Liverpool.
